Casas Bahia: Fulfilling a Dream

 

 

This company has a clever business idea, making the poor people as their target market. In Brazil, there are more class C, D and E. That’s why if they involve the poor population in the market, they will gain more profit even though if they sale their prices for a low cost.

 

 

They used a financing strategy to help them improve their marketing strategy, so that the poor people will be able to haggle for prices and pay installments. The company can monitor their sales in real-time and can also monitor customers to avoid fraud. The company makes it sure that all their employees are well-trained. Their main objective is to improve customer relationships.

 

 

Can we apply this to the Philippines? I think it is a good idea to have a strategy like this in the Philippines, because the Philippines also has many poor people which if you include the poor population in your business, it will help your company gain more profit and at the same time the poor people will benefit from it.
